Nearly every business now has a website but should you consider whether making a mobile website?

WP 3.0 Upgrade 404 Error Fix When Categories Not Showing

I recently upgraded this site from WordPress 2.92 to version 3.0. To my horror whenever the a category was clicked on in the menu the dreaded 404 Error appeared. It occurred to me that permalink structure might be the problem so I took the following steps which cured the problem for me at any rate. This fix would be a pain if you had loads of posts but it does work.
Website Design is Unimportant

Not before time many people are realizing just how effectively the web can serve them. In 1998 when I started developing websites the emphasis was on design and whilst the rules of a good design still hold true (A good design is not noticed by the on looker, a bad design stares out), today a website has become a frontline showroom, a back office and is interactive with one’s audience.

In 12 years I have seen plenty of technolgies, ideas and tools on the web which never made it. Always look at reviews of systems before going with anything. Open Source is usually very good stuff.
Will New FTC New Rules Make Adverts Boring
Published November 27, 2009 | Well as I understand it from December 1st 2009, testimonials will be dodgy territory for anyone who sells over the internet. I like, like I hope most people, do not believe everything I read. We all know that WORK, whether hard or easy, is going to be required to achieve ANYTHING. I cannot help but wonder if the scares, being broadcast so far about testimonials showing average, poor and best, will make advertising boring.
Like many of my generation, I didn’t actually believe that the ‘Charles Atlas’ bodybuilding course would make me a man in just 7 days, or that Guiness would be good for me. I expect a testimonial to show an example of best results. I can envisage, if the scares are true, adverts running something like this.
